“Before ,we have to prepare changes if take a bus, sometimes we have no change ,then we have to find some in nearby shops or buy something, really boring.”The most inconvenient thing about taking a bus is to find change from your pocket. After you find it then you put it in. If it is paper money, it is hard to put it in the box. To say something more troublesome , it is to take a bus with a fare of 1.5 yuan. It is even harder to vote. Most important ,50 cents are hard to find and you have to put in 2yuan .

With the advent of the mobile payment era, mobile payment has become more and more popular in the field of public transportation, and “find change” will no longer be a trouble for people when taking public transportation. The passenger scans the QR code which generated by the payment software against the scanner on the bus then completes the payment with a click. Select a QR code in the payment software such as WeChat, Alipay or Mobile Banking, and scan the payment device to complete the payment.

The benefits of the combination of public transportation and mobile payments for passengers are obvious. The  trouble of “Lost bus card, go out without money, can't buy tickets, queue up to buy cards”will no longer exists ,and the ride experience will also improve. In addition, after the implementation of bus mobile payment, the bus company can analyze the characteristics of the passengers on each line and each time period through the big data paid by the bus, and make a reasonable allocation of the bus.It can eliminate counterfeit currency and reduce the pressure on the bus department to count money--too many advantages.

Whether a bus is equipped with one or two card readers mainly depends on the fare calculation method of the route: single-fare routes usually only require passengers to tap their cards once when boarding, so one card reader is sufficient; while distance-based fare routes require passengers to tap their cards both when boarding and alighting to calculate the actual trip cost, hence two card readers are needed.
